Shortcut Update with Dalle-3, GPT-4 Vision, and More. ToolVox AI Interacts with Open AI and OpenRouter Models Providing Presets of Roles and Prompts for Quick AI Tasks
Hi sounds amazing but I would like to just use openrouter APi and not OpenAi. So at setup I didn’t fill OpenAI key and just filled openrouteur key. And then I put one openrouteur model in the GTModel duct. Then I downloaded your shortcut but it doesn’t work, it asks me to send to openrouteur a strange dictionary containing pricing for openrouteur models (looks like openrouteur own dict of models) and then exit with a mistake… in a word sounds like an amazing work but very difficult to understand how to use :)
Hi! I agree that this Shortcut may be more suitable for power users familiar with how Shortcuts work. The setup and customization options can be the most complicated part (especially if you want to get into all the settings). However, once set up, it's very convenient to use daily without issues. If you are willing to give it another try, I've simplified the Setup Shortcut for your specific case: https://www.icloud.com/shortcuts/690fb26537d44ea6a63213abde7b4a7f
All it needs from you is:
1. Your OpenRouter API Token (it's ok to leave the others empty).
2. After you insert your OpenRouter token, run the Shortcut so that the setup file and folder are created.
4. During the setup of the main Shortcut choose the Bookmarks folder created at Shortcuts/ToolVoxAI/Bookmarks
5. Run the main Shortcut and accept the permissions it will ask (it will show that the Shortcut wants to send a dictionary to OpenRouter or write to files, this is how the shortcut sends the requests and saves the last conversation on your Shortcuts folder). These permission requests will only pop up only the first few times (IF you select Always Allow). There's just no way around that, it's just the way that Apple needs to double check with users that you are exchanging information with an API.
I prepared the setup to work with one of OpenRouter's Llama 3 8B models. You can probably adapt it to any OpenRouter model you need. The only places you'd need to change this is the dictionary in the setup shortcut that says GPTModel, and a bit lower, on the block it says MODELS AND SETTINGS (this is just so that you can see an estimated pricing, but you can ignore this if not needed).
